Angmering Locality Rugby Festival
Overall 3rd placed.
A mixture of experienced older hands and keen novices proved the perfect blend for a fabulous afternoon of rugby at the locality festival today.
The event began with some handling and teamwork drills run by Mr Gwynn and then the serious business began. Games against Georgian Gardens and St Margaret's were both tough propositions, and the EPJS team did well to come away with a draw and a loss against the much more experienced opposition. The team grew as the tournament progressed and the children should be immensely proud of themselves and that they have taken part in a rugby festival during the Rugby World Cup itself!
A huge thank you to all of the rugby players, particularly those that stepped up at short notice, you were a credit to the sky-blue and navy hoops today!
