EPJS is turning 75!
Although the history of the school is much older, the current building for East Preston Primary School - now East Preston Juniors - opened in 1951, so we're celebrating 75 years in 2026.
We're excited to be carrying out lots of anniversary activities in school, from music and art to a Yarn Bombing project.
We'd also love to hear more from former pupils, staff and friends of the school. If you have an interesting old photograph squirreled away, or would like to share some of your memories of your time at the school, then please get in touch with us at 75@epjs.co.uk
We'd love to hear your memories of teachers, school events - even those occasions where you might have appeared in the Head Master's discipline book!
We will also be hosting an open morning, where we invite all of our local community into school to see some of the memories, photographs and other objects we have. This will take place on Saturday 4th July from 10am to 12 noon. No tickets necessary - just come along and join us to remember school as it was, and to see it as it is today.
