Festive Fun at the Annual KS2 Santa Dash!
On Wednesday 10th December, The Angmering School was filled with festive cheer as nearly 100 KS2 children from our school took part in the much-loved annual Santa Dash. This event has become a highlight of the winter calendar, and this year was no exception – it was full of laughter, excitement, and plenty of Christmas spirit!
Children arrived dressed to impress, with most sporting Christmas jumpers, Santa hats, and even full costumes. The creativity was incredible! Among the standout outfits were a paired costume of Santa’s sleigh complete with a reindeer, a Christmas turkey, a wrapped present, and many more imaginative designs that brought smiles all around.
The Santa Dash is not just about fun – it’s also a chance for those with a competitive streak to shine. The races were lively and full of energy, with successes celebrated in both the girls’ and boys’ competitions. Whether running for victory or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere, every child contributed to making the event a huge success.
This year’s turnout was fantastic, and the enthusiasm shown by the children made it clear why this event is such a cherished tradition. A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped spread festive joy – we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
