Girls Football Tournament
A big well done to the EPJS girls football team who turned out for the first time together in the locality tournament on Wednesday evening.
The games were played under the floodlights of the Angmering School astro-turf pitch and there was certainly an Autumnal feel about proceedings as the evening wore on.
4 matches comprising 6 minutes in duration were played with not much between each team. The EP players huffed and puffed and showed great energy and determination but perhaps lacked the decisiveness in front of goal shown by eventual winners Georgian Gardens.
There were some fabulous moments throughout the tournament-notably a bullet header from Darcey that was centimetres over the cross-bar.
Thanks as always to each of the players, (especially those making their first appearance for the school) parents and carers and to all others involved.
Mr Gwynn, as always, writes a brief report of the event - please follow the link posted below.
