🏌️♂️ JOLF Takeover Day – A Hole-in-One Experience! ⛳
What an incredible day we had at school as we welcomed Neil Plimmer, owner of JOLF, for a fantastic whole-school golf experience! From start to finish, the day was packed with fun, challenge and plenty of smiles as every class had the opportunity to take part.
Across the day, each group stepped onto our specially designed course, ready to test their skills in a Junior Golf adventure like no other. The aim? To guide their golf ball from the starting point, navigating a series of exciting obstacles including:
- 🏖️ tricky bunkers
- 🔵 winding tubes
- 🔺 bouncing cones
…all before carefully aiming to sink the ball into the hole at the bottom of the flag—using as few shots as possible!
It was brilliant to see children of all ages developing their control, accuracy and patience as they took on the course. There were cheers for tricky shots, celebrations for successful putts and lots of encouragement between friends. It was clear that this was not just about skill, but about having fun and enjoying a new sporting experience together.
Throughout the day, the children were encouraged to play safely, co-operatively and fairly—and it is fair to say that they truly rose to the challenge! We were so impressed with the way everyone supported each other, took turns and showed excellent sportsmanship. 👏
To celebrate these fantastic attitudes, each session ended with a very special moment… the awarding of the Golden Golf Ball! 🏅 One child from every class was selected to take this home, having demonstrated outstanding effort, kindness or fairness during their session. A huge well done to all of our well-deserved winners!
A massive thank you to Neil Plimmer and JOLF for delivering such an engaging and enjoyable day. It was a wonderful opportunity for our children to try something new, build confidence and, most importantly, have lots of fun along the way.
We think it’s safe to say… this event was a real hole-in-one! ⛳✨
