KS2 Boccia - 26/11/24
On Tuesday last week, 6 children from EPJS went along to The Angmering School for a Boccia tournament - many of whom have experience from Mr Coates' Boccia & Kurling club. The children were then split into three teams of two.
Once the rules had been explained, games got underway. During each game, the participants showed fantastic decision making with each shot, as they were able to consider placing a blocker, moving opponents balls or getting as close as possible to the Jack. As well as this, all three teams were able to communicate effectively with their partners, thinking strategically based on their seated position.
In the end, all of the pairs had positive results and particularly brilliant moments. One team won the event and the others finished very strongly!
Yours in sport,
Mr J Etherington (PE Lead)
