KS2 Dance Festival - 11/02/25
Date: Tuesday 11th February
Location: The Angmering School
On Tuesday 11th February, students from various schools gathered at The Angmering School for an exciting KS2 Dance Festival. The day was full of energy, creativity, and lots of fun as the children took part in a thrilling dance challenge.
The event kicked off with everyone learning a spy-themed dance. The dance was full of secret agent moves, sneaky twists, and cool spy actions. The children practiced their moves carefully and worked together to make sure they looked like the best secret agents on the mission!
After practising the spy dance, it was time for the real fun to begin. The students were split into smaller groups, and each group was given the task of creating their own dance. The children used their imagination and teamwork to come up with unique dance moves. Some groups chose spy-inspired themes, while others created dances about adventure, mystery, and teamwork. It was amazing to see how everyone used their creativity to come up with different and exciting performances.
At the end of the festival, there was a special awards ceremony to celebrate the best performances. The top-performing groups were given medals to reward their hard work and dedication. Everyone gave their best efforts, and it was clear that each group had put in a lot of practice and thought into their performances.
Overall, the KS2 Dance Festival at The Angmering School was a fantastic event, filled with learning, dancing, and making new friends. Everyone had a great time, and the children walked away with new dance skills, fun memories, and a sense of pride in their hard work. Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to all the parents and organisers who made the day possible!
Yours in sport,
Mr J Etherington (PE Lead)
