Mixed Fortunes for EPJS versus St Margaret's

Despite an early drop of rain, the hardy children of EPJS and St Margaret's were keen to play the second round of football and netball fixtures in their respective league games.

Off the back of impressive wins against Ferring, the EPJS teams were bubbling with confidence.

Football: EPJS 2 - 3 St Margaret's

Mr. Smith's footballers took an early advantage, leading 2-1 at half time,  but were pressed back in the second half as St Margaret's dominated the closing stages and scored twice to take the game 2-3.

The St Margaret's team named Leo as their player of the match.

Netball: EPJS 19 - 0 St Margaret's

The netballers continued their fine vein of form under Miss Groves. Her team described the occasion: Emily said, "it was another amazing occasion! Everyone played brilliantly. I am so happy that we have won our last few games. I think our team works really well together. It was a really enjoyable match.

Olivia added, "It was really great to be part of the team again We played an excellent match, and the final score was 19-0 to us. It was brilliant to be a goal shooter and score 11 nets out of 19 and both teams worked really well."

Thanks to all involved, we look forward to our next outing - in a fortnight - away to St John the Baptist Primary in Findon.
