Santa Dash - 12/12/24

Time for possibly the best event of the year - the Santa Dash! 

EPJS were represented strongly with upwards of 60-70 children from Years 3 - 6 - a fantastic showing. The effort and time spent on costumes, jumpers, hats and accessories was also fantastic to see!

When children started arriving, it was clear that the festive spirit was in the air; not just for children, but for staff and parents. All around The Angmering School field excitement, comradery and anticipation could be seen. 

Before long, things got underway and from the very beginning the effort from all involved was outstanding (including teachers). As children finished their first laps, rapturous applause could be heard from all spectators - giving them an extra push for their second. 

When all had finished, children headed for the finishing pen and were enthusiastic to share their successes. During the final presentation, their was a truly special atmosphere as both children and parents watched on in a close huddle. 

After the event, it was a pleasure to see so many smiling faces and such positivity towards sport! Once again, thank you to all parents that make these events possible.
