Team and Individual Success in the Angmering Mile

Despite the winter weather and lots of children absent from school through the impact of Covid-19, EPJS had largest group at the event by far. This has been a fabulous 'running' theme throughout the year and we hope that more children will challenge themselves in this event over the coming weeks.

Amy C was 1st individual girl and her EPJS girls' team placed 3rd.  The boys' team best individual was Tobias C in 4th and our boys were overall winners! Meaning that EPJS retain the boys’ trophy for a third consecutive occasion.

We would like to extend our thanks in four directions - Mr. Gwynn and his team for organising the event; all of our competitors from across the locality - without whom no competition would be possible; to our cheerleaders - parents and carers who have the unenviable task of transporting whilst hoping the level crossing is up! And finally, to all of the children that represented our school - we are proud of you!
