The Legacy Games at The Angmering School!
Wednesday 25th June was a day full of fun, energy and teamwork as children from Year 5 and Year 6 took part in The Legacy Games at The Angmering School.
Around 180 children made the exciting walk from our school to the event, ready to take part in a full day of sports and friendly competition. Everyone was split into their house teams – Romans, Saxons, Normans and Vikings – and sent off to different activities across the site.
There were lots of action-packed events, including multi-skills (a rotation of different sports), end-zone, handball and basketball. Every child got stuck in, tried their best and represented our school with pride and great sportsmanship.
To end the day, eight children from Year 5 and 6 competed in an exciting relay race that had everyone cheering from the sidelines!
When all the scores were added up, the final results were announced… and we were thrilled to find out that we had finished in 2nd place overall!
Well done to everyone who took part – what a brilliant day of sport and teamwork!
