Year 3/4 Boys' Football Tournament

On Thursday, 13th February, the boys from Year 3 and Year 4 took part in an exciting football tournament at The Angmering School. Both teams played their hearts out, showing fantastic teamwork and skill.

Year 3 Championship Knock-Out Tournament

The Year 3 team played in a Championship knock-out tournament. This meant that every match was a chance to win and move on to the next round. The team played incredibly well and made it all the way to the final! They showed great determination, but unfortunately, they lost in the final match. Despite this, they should be proud of their performance and their second-place finish in the tournament. Well done, Year 3!

Year 4 Round Robin Premiership

The Year 4 team competed in a round robin Premiership, where they played against several other teams in a league format. The team performed brilliantly and finished joint top of the league, but they were just pipped to the top spot by goal difference. This means that although they played just as well as the other top team, their total goals scored were slightly fewer. Despite this, they came second overall, which is a fantastic achievement!

Both teams showed amazing teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and they should be really proud of their efforts. A big congratulations to both the Year 3 and Year 4 boys for finishing second and giving it their all! Keep up the great work, boys!

Final Standings:

  • Year 3: Second place in the Championship Knock-Out Tournament (Lost in the final)
  • Year 4: Second place in the Premiership Round Robin (Joint top, but second due to goal difference
