Year 3/4 Quad Kids Success at The Angmering School – Thursday 15th May

On Thursday 15th May, two teams of super sporty children from our school travelled to The Angmering School to take part in the exciting Year 3/4 Quad Kids athletics event. We had one Year 3 team and one Year 4 team ready to show their speed, strength and teamwork!

The event included four fun challenges:

• A sprint race to test our speed,
• A long distance run to show our stamina,
• A vortex throw to see how far we could launch a foam rocket,
• And a long jump to see who could leap the furthest.

Every child took part in all four events, collecting points for their team. Everyone gave it their best effort and cheered each other on.

At the end of the day, there was an exciting relay race – and our teams were amazing! One of our teams came 1st and the other came 2nd, which was a fantastic way to finish the day.

We were so proud when one of our athletes was named the Top Athlete of the entire event – what an achievement! And the great news didn’t stop there: our teams finished 2nd and 5th overall out of all the schools taking part.

Well done to everyone who took part – you were brilliant competitors and brilliant teammates!
