Year 3 Stars Shine at Endzone Tournament!

Thursday 26th June, The Angmering School

Eight brilliant Year 3 pupils stepped up to the challenge this Thursday as they took part in an exciting Endzone tournament at The Angmering School – and what a performance they gave!

Endzone, a fast-paced team sport that’s similar to a mix of netball and rugby, was brand new to all the children. At first, they were unsure of the rules and how to play – but thanks to some expert coaching and a great attitude, the team quickly picked up the skills they needed.

After a few practice drills and warm-ups, it was game time! The children showed excellent teamwork, passing with precision and moving into space like pros. As the tournament went on, their confidence grew, and so did their skill level. There were some brilliant throws, clever interceptions, and even a few dramatic dives into the scoring zone!

Each game saw the team improving, with smiles on their faces and determination in every move. Whether they were attacking, defending, or cheering on their teammates from the sideline, every child gave it their all.

By the end of the day, the Year 3 team had done themselves – and their school – incredibly proud. Their effort, energy, and sportsmanship were top-class.
