Tag Rugby Tournament at The Angmering School: An Afternoon of Fun and Teamwork!

On Thursday, 6th March, The Angmering School hosted a thrilling Tag Rugby tournament, where teams from across the area came together for a day filled with excitement, teamwork, and plenty of tries!

The students played hard and showed amazing skills, improving their understanding of the game as the event went on. Teams had to work together to pass, dodge, and tag their way to success. It was fantastic to see everyone develop their skills and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

One of the teams finished in a fantastic joint 6th place, showing great effort and determination despite facing tough competition. They may not have finished at the top, but they were proud of how much they had learned and how well they had worked together as a team.

The other East Preston team finished in 1st place. Their hard work paid off, and their teamwork, quick passes, and strong defence made them the champions of the fixture! They were thrilled with their victory, but even more pleased with how much they had grown as players and teammates.

Throughout the tournament, every player showed how important teamwork is in Tag Rugby. They all learned new techniques and improved their game, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

The day was a great reminder that, no matter the result, the most important thing is to play with passion, support your teammates, and enjoy the game! Well done to all the teams who took part, and a huge congratulations to the winners!
