New Families

We welcome new children into East Preston Junior School at the start of Year 3, or in older year groups where we have vacancies.

For families wishing to apply for a place in Year 3, applications are made through the local authority process by the closing date in January of the year your child will transfer. Full details of this process are in the admissions documentation.

If you are looking for a place in Year 4, 5 or 6, you can contact the school office to check whether we have spaces before applying and to arrange a visit.

Headteacher's Presentation

Once your child has been offered a place at the school, we will contact you to invite you to our various transition events. When starting in Year 3, we liaise closely with East Preston Infant School and other schools to provide a smooth transition. We also hope to host the children for visits during the school day, and invite parents and children into school for an evening information evening in July before starting at the school in September.
