We welcome new children into East Preston Junior School at the start of Year 3, or in older year groups where we have vacancies.
For families wishing to apply for a place in Year 3, applications are made through the local authority process by the closing date in January of the year your child will transfer. Full details of this process are in the admissions documentation.
If you are looking for a place in Year 4, 5 or 6, you can contact the school office to check whether we have spaces.
Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer tours or a presentation meeting from the headteacher. However, please find below two videos to give you a sense of life at the school. The first is a short outline video, showing aspects of the school at work; the second is a presentation from Mr Tidd about the school's values and curriculum, as well as more practical matters.

Once your child has been offered a place at the school, we will contact you to invite you to our various transition events. When starting in Year 3, we liaise closely with East Preston Infant School and other schools to provide a smooth transition. We also hope to host the children for visits during the school day, and invite parents and children into school for an evening information evening in July before starting at the school in September.
Some important information for new parents is included in our welcome booklet for new families:
